Built with the future in mind, the ST-X8 is fully EcoDesign compliant and meets the strict 2022 ErP standards, ensuring minimal emissions and environmentally-friendly performance. This model is DEFRA exempt, making it suitable for use throughout the UK, even in areas with stringent smoke control zone regulations.
The Saltfire ST-X8 features a spacious firebox that accommodates larger logs, allowing you to enjoy a greater range of heat output. Crafted from a precision-welded thick steel body with a cast iron door and thermo-refractory fire brick linings, this stove is built for durability and long-lasting performance.

Alright, it's an okay stove, this Saltfire. Does the job of heating the room, but I was expecting a bit more oomph, to be honest. And cleaning it out is a bit of a faff. Not bad, but not amazing either. Just average, really. You get what you pay for, I suppose.
